I’m really excited to be adding this new section to my website.

Here, I’ll be talking to authors at different stages in their careers and exploring their approach to writing and the unique challenges they encounter along the way. I hope they’ll share how their passions have shaped the stories they’ve told – or are longing to tell – and give us a sneak peek of what’s in the pipeline.

I’m hoping to bring you fresh perspectives, personal insights and perhaps a few surprises from writers across various genres. Whether you’re a fellow writer or a curious reader, I hope you enjoy these conversations as much as I do.

As a newcomer to novel-writing, I’ve learned a lot from listening to established authors talk about their early days, their writing routines and how they approach plotting. One of my favourites is the talented Lisa Jewell, who is so open and honest about her writing process. I really enjoyed hearing her talking about the decisions she made in terms of plot and point-of-view in her latest novel, None of This is True. I find it incredibly inspiring to hear how successful authors like Lisa face and successfully overcome the same challenges as we less experienced writers.

This section is just beginning, with one interview to kick us off, and several more planned.

By diving into the minds of other authors, I hope to gain inspiration on my own writing journey and to keep going when the going gets tough.
